Water is the principle protagonist, seen in all its tremendous and horrible beauty. Mountains of ice move and destroy aside as if that they had a lifestyles of their own. Kossakovsky's film travels the arena, from the precarious frozen waters of Russia's Lake Baikal and Miami inside the throes of Hurricane Irma, to Venezuela's strong Angel Falls with the intention to paint a portrait of this fluid lifestyles force in all its wonderful bureaucracy. Fragile human beings revel in existence and death, pleasure and depression within the face of its electricity.
