After his sudden appearance in the film "Captain America Civil War" Marvel brings back the young arachnid in a new film starring Tom Holland, written by Jonathan Goldstein, directed by Jon Watts and produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal. It was released on July 7, two thousand seventeen, and distributed by Sony Pictures.
New York, year two thousand and twelve; The epic battle of the Avengers against the Chitauri culminated, the city has been devastated, the intense fights destroyed everything in its path. One of the companies hired to clean and collect the rubble of the city was the collector of Adrián Toomes; who correctly exercised his duties, until Stark Industries through the damage control department of the government of the United States of America assumed the operation and Toomes was evicted from the place leading to bankruptcy.
Toomes managed to take extraterrestrial technology and weapons before leaving the place, and used them to create his own war arsenal; which would later be sold on the black market to terrorists and criminals.
Years later, the young Parker returns from Germany where he fought alongside his idol and mentor Tony Stark, against Captain America and his friends. Peter returns to high school with his friends, waiting to be contacted by Happy Hogan as Tony told him. But the call never comes and Peter begins to despair; He decides to take the suit that Iron Man left him and patrol the city in search of criminals.
Suddenly he discovers that some subjects dressed up as Avengers masks are stealing an ATM enclosure with a strange and striking weapon never seen before, Spider-Man goes into action and stops the criminals, but during the fight it causes damage throughout the place.
The next morning, the young climber tries to contact Happy Hogan to tell him what happened and alert Mr. Stark of the existence of the weaponry, but nobody responds. Again he decides to do things by his side, and begins to investigate.
During the birthday party of one of his classmates, Peter observes an intense light in the distance, is the same color as the bank robbery weapon, quickly transforms into Spider-Man and reaches the criminals he faces without success, falling into the lake and being rescued by one of the unmanned suits of Iron Man.
At that time, Tony through a hologram warns Peter about the use of the suit and that he should stay away from problems.
Peter must attend the annual decathlon of the school to be held in Washington DC. The stubborn arachnid insists on continuing the investigation and pursues a truck loaded with Chitauri technology, but without realizing it ends up trapped in an army bunker. Unable to leave, he loses his participation in the decathlon, but discovers that the extraterrestrial energy core that his friend Ned carries in his backpack is unstable and can explode at any time.
Peter locates his friends and runs quickly to the Washington Monument, where the core explodes and puts them in grave danger; Spider-Man immediately appears on the scene, who with the help of his super suit manages to rescue his friends.
Upon returning to New York, Peter tries again to speak with Tony, but they ignore his alert. The arachnid decides to fight the powerful criminal nicknamed crow, putting his life and that of many people at risk; bringing as a consequence the intervention of Iron Man and a reprimand of Tony, who takes the suit that he gave him.
Peter must gain Tony's confidence again, for this he will have to prove that Spider-Man is more than a suit, he must show all his courage if he wishes to be part of the Avengers.
